Research and development is a continuous process that provides new answers to the changing needs and expectations of customers. Driven by market requirements and the emerging opportunities presented through the development of new technology.
The silicone range incorporates silicone water repellents as an integral part of the cement based render system.
This silicone technology imparts a high degree of water repellency to the render surface whilst allowing water vapour to pass through the render allowing the substrate to breathe.
The water repellent surface ensures a freshly rendered appearance for a prolonged period, eliminating the need for external painting and is very easily maintained.
The finish is drier and thus more resistant to algae growth and the natural phenomenon of limebloom.
The range incorporates a number of product lines that require only the addition of water…
which incorporates various textured finished renders, insulating render, dry dash receivers, roughcast, base coats, brick effect render and ready mixed renders.
Lime is a range of dry bagged mortars made from natural hydraulic lime selected sand and other performance enhancing additives, derived from natural sources.

External Renders

CMH Plasterers offer a high quality extensive range of silicone renders and finishes designed to give a durable weatherproof coating and a natural finish. Manufactures life expectancy of 20 years
• Various textured finished renders
• Insulating render
• Dry dash receivers

With the textured finished coloured renders we can provide computer images to give you an idea of the finised look.

SCRATCH RENDER.

Silicone FT is a water repellent, cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system.
It incorporates silicone technology in a through coloured render and provides a fine textured finish.
Silicone WP is a water repellent, cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system. It incorporates silicone technology in a through coloured render with a broken stone effect textured finish.
Silicone FT provides a fine texture finish where the client requires a smoother finish than Silicone WP.
There is also a cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system, which is designed to provide a cost effective textured finish without the silicone properties.
All coloured renders are available in 20 standard colours. A self coloured render customisable palette of over 500 colours is also available in the Scraped Texture range.

POLYMER SILICONE TEXTURED THIN COAT

Silicone TC is a pre-mixed, silicone based, ready to use organic resin render which is usually hand applied.
It provides a low maintenance, decorative finish is available in two different textures TC 15 & TC 30 and in a wide range of colours.
Silicone Thin Coat range uses the NCS – Natural Colour System®© to help customers visualise special colours for their project.

TEXTURED ACRYLIC

The acrylic render is a 100% acrylic based product with integral colour pigments and specially selected aggregates
It Provides the same without silicone technology which makes it more cost effective.

Uses

High performance decorative textured finish for application onto a prepared substrate
Decorative textured finish for external wall insulating render systems

Benefits include

High degree of water repellency
Optimum adhesion to the substrate
Easy application & workability
Natural looking finish
Allows substrate to breathe
High flexibility
Excellent handling properties
High weather resistance
brick effend render

LIME RENDER

The Lime range uses natural hydraulic lime rather than cement as a binder. For many centuries lime has been used as the binder of choice in both masonry construction and to provide a durable finish protecting the building from weather elements.
Recently the construction industry has been rediscovering the benefits of hydraulic lime for today’s challenging environment. In conjunction with industry-leading experts the researchers has carried out an extensive research and development programme. This ensures the range provides all the benefits of traditional lime mortar for today’s modern marketplace. The range is designed to be used for both new build and renovation project.
Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortar is a range of dry bagged mortars that requires only the addition of water and thorough mixing.
The range is made from a blend of Natural Hydraulic Lime, carefully selected white limestone graded sand and other performance enhancing additives, derived from natural sources.
The mortars are available in 3 different grades and have been designed for use in stonemasonry, pointing, brick laying, block laying and as a plaster and render. Just choose from the 3 different grades to suit your project.

Lime and the Environment

Natural hydraulic lime uses less energy in production and absorbs more CO2 throughout curing than Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), therefore reducing CO2 emissions. Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortars are much more flexible than OPC derived products and can better accommodate movement within the structure. The new range is not only good for the environment but it is also good for the building.
Hydraulic lime and sand mixes are known for their flexibility, breathability and durability in comparison to cement and sand mixes.

Benefits Include

ALLOWS STRUCTURE TO BREATHE
MORE FLEXIBLE THAN OPC BASED PRODUCTS
PROVEN BY TIME TO PROVIDE STRENGTH AND DURABILITY
CAN ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR CONSTRUCTION JOINTS
USE WITH MODERN & TRADITIONAL BUILDING MATERIALS

DASHING

Dry dashing render spars continue to be a popular decorative finish to external walls, specified for appearance as well as offering great performance and value for money.

Silicone Dash

Silicone Dash is a water repellent, cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system, incorporating silicone technology, which is designed to receive a selection of dry dash and wet dash (roughcast) finishes.

System includes:

A range of polymer modified basecoats for use as a backing for Silicone Dash finish.

Standard Dash

Standard Dash is a cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system without the silicone properties, which is designed to receive a selection of dry dash finishes.

System includes:

A range of polymer modified basecoats for use as a backing for K Rend Standard Dash finish.
Standard Dash is a cement based and polymer modified self-coloured render system without the silicone properties, which is designed to receive a selection of dry dash finishes.

EXTERNAL WALL INSULATIONS.

The insulation systems increase the comfort levels. as well as totally transforming the appearance of the built environment.
This is the simplest and easiest way of thermally upgrading homes and buildings without massive disruption as all works can be carried out whilst the buildings are occupied.
The external wall insulation systems (EWI) offer a complete solution for any type of building, with a wide range of finishes.

Benefits

Reduce heat loss
green deal & ECO
Stops condensation
Helps prevent mould and fungus growth
increases thermal efficiency
Stops drafts
Lowers heating costs
Improved aesthetic finish
No reduction in interior floor space

HEAT LOSS

U-Value is a measure of heat loss in a building element such as a wall, floor or roof and it measures how well parts of the building transfer heat.
Higher the U Value =Bad thermal performance
Lower the U Value= High levels of insulation.

HEAT LOST FROM A BADLY INSULATED HOUSE

Upto 35% through outside walls
Upto 15% through ground floors
Upto 25% through doors and windows
Upto 25% through the roof
